Kevin Thornton

Senior Project Architect

I am a Bay Area native and have lived here all my life (except for six years in Boston). To me, the architecture profession is special because it is a built art, like frozen music. I like to think of myself as an architect and an artist. I was drawn to ELS for I’d always admired their aquatic design and their ties to UC Berkeley. I have two children, a daughter 24 and a son 18.

An oil painting of the Parthenon I made, after spending a summer in Greece.
