Glades Plaza

Boca Raton, FL | mixed-use/retail/office | urban design/planning
1/3

For our Glades Plaza masterplan, we proposed the dynamic redevelopment of an existing retail site near central Boca Raton.

Our vision spans approximately 12 acres and includes a 120-key boutique hotel, 270 luxury housing units, 100,000 sf of retail and 56,000 sf of mixed-use office. The focal point of the project is a village green activated by retail and restaurants, with activity intended to spill out onto the plaza and adjacent sidewalks. The project is designed to attract luxury brand retailers that will differentiate it from other offerings in the area.

The hotel district is located on a high visibility corner and forms a gateway to the vision’s surrounding districts. At the project’s central district, retail, office, and residential uses combine to become the project’s “It Place.” The luxury residential housing is located in the so-called quiet district, where residents live separate from the energy of the retail mixed-use district yet remain part of its community.
