Growing up, I called a few different cities home – Berkeley, Tokyo, Moscow and Santa Barbara. These early and contrasting experiences helped to shape my approach to architecture. An approach that aims to balance each project’s unique context with simple and elegant design solutions.

My wife Erica. She is a labor and delivery nurse. The work she does never ceases to amaze me!

Hiking or cooking
best vacation
Snorkeling and diving off Komodo Island. It was the first time I dove. The vibrancy of the natural world just beneath the water blew me away.
