Austin, TX | urban design/planning
1/4

A new urban neighborhood bringing people together to live, work, and play.

Sketch by Anthony Grand

ELS planned the 39-acre Mueller Town Center, the commercial core for the redevelopment of the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin. The sustainably designed, LEED ND Gold certified mixed-use district is under construction and includes retail, restaurant, and entertainment tenants, Class A office space, multi-family residential, and hotel uses. The Town Center serves as the commercial and social core of the redevelopment, which already includes residential neighborhoods, the Dell Children’s Medical Center, and the University of Texas Health Research Campus. ELS’ master planning and preliminary concepts have resulted in 315,000 sf of Class A office construction, a mixed-use Alamo Draft House Cinema, a district parking garage, multi-family apartments, shops, and restaurants.
