A new urban neighborhood bringing people together to live, work, and play.

Sketch by Anthony Grand

ELS master-planned the 39 acre town center of the redevelopment of the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin, Texas. The sustainably designed, LEED Silver certified mixed-use district will include local, regional, and national retail, restaurant, and entertainment tenants and will feature residential, office, hotel, and museum uses. The Town Center will be the core of the redevelopment, which already includes residential neighborhoods, the Dell Children’s Medical Center, and the University of Texas Health Research Campus. The result of years of community involvement and a public-private partnership, Mueller is a nationally recognized project that exemplifies the benefits of sustainable and compact development within existing cities.
