Kim-Van Truong, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Associate Principal

Kim-Van Truong joined ELS in 2007. She has managed a variety of projects, including college and university wellness, sports, and recreational facilities; retail centers; and master planning. Currently, Kim-Van is project manager on the Santa Rosa Junior College Kinesiology, Athletics, and Dance project as well as the College of Marin’s New Miwok Center. She previously served as job captain on the LEED Silver–certified UC Berkeley Legends Aquatic Center and the Santa Clara International Swim Center. In addition to managing projects, she is involved in marketing and business development efforts and is an active participant in ELS’ sustainable design group. Kim-Van currently serves on the board of directors of the AIA East Bay as secretary/treasurer. She continues to look for ways to enhance the community, whether by designing the built environment or volunteering her time. She regularly participates in career outreach events for current architecture students at UC Berkeley. Kim-Van received a bachelor of arts in architecture with high honors from UC Berkeley.
