ELS Promotes Four to Senior Associate and Three to Associate

ELS is pleased to announce Am Amnuaydejkorn, Jim Stone, Kim-Van Truong, and Vince Taboada have been promoted to Senior Associate and Ben Wakelin, Lauren Wynveen, and Marc Chu have been promoted to Associate.

Senior Associates

Am Amnuaydejkorn, AIA, Senior Associate, joined ELS in 2006. His work includes Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, College of Marin Miwok Center, Elk Grove Aquatics, Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, Ward Village Shops in Honolulu, and retail roll-out projects. Am received a Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree from the University of Oregon, Eugene.

Jim Stone, AIA, NCARB, Senior Associate, has 26 years of experience with ELS. His work includes construction administration for VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa in San Jose and Cypress (Texas); Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo; Fresno City College Old Administration Building; Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas; and Berkeley High School. Jim received his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A & M University and his Master of Architecture from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kim-Van Truong, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Senior Associate, joined ELS in 2007. Her work includes College of Marin Miwok Wellness Center, Cañada College Kinesiology & Wellness Center, UC Berkeley Legends Aquatic Center, Santa Clara International Swim Center, and UC Berkeley Hellman Tennis Center. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

Vince Taboada, AIA, LEED Green Associate, Senior Associate, has nine years of experience with ELS. His work includes design and construction administration for VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa (multiple locations), Rossmoor’s Tice Creek Fitness Center, and projects for the City of Berkeley. Vince received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Associates

Ben Wakelin, Architect, LEED AP BD+C, Associate, joined ELS in 2017. His work includes Stonestown Galleria Reconfiguration in San Francisco. Ben received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Visual Art from Dartmouth College.

Lauren Wynveen, Architect, Associate, joined ELS in 2013. Her work includes Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco, the Latimer Square development in Bloomington (Indiana), Lisser Hall at Mills College, Berkeley YMCA Childwatch, Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, NewPark Mall in Newark, and Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas. Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with Highest Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Marc Chu, Architect, LEED AP, Associate, joined ELS in 2014. His work includes NewPark Mall redevelopment in Newark, Stonestown Galleria Reconfiguration in San Francisco, Congregation Sherith Israel historic landmark renovation in San Francisco, YMCA Tenant Improvements in Berkeley, Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, and RH Pier 70 in San Francisco. Marc received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
