A Message from ELS about COVID-19

by: Clarence D. Mamuyac, Jr., FAIA, LEED AP BD+C | March 16, 2020

We hope you and your family are in good health and remain so during this unprecedented health crisis. ELS is committed to doing our part in slowing down the spread of the virus.

Our top priority is our clients and projects currently in design and construction, as well as the safety of our staff, their families and our community.

ELS has instituted the following protocols to help flatten the curve.

  • All design staff will be working remotely from home.
  • A small critical infrastructure team – maintaining six feet of separation – is available to answer phones, direct messages, and handle any IT issues related to supporting our staff remotely.
  • All meetings between staff, consultants, and clients will now be conducted online via GoToMeeting. Previously scheduled meetings will be conducted online or rescheduled to the extent possible.
  • We have suspended all non-essential, business-related travel and conference attendance.

ELS remains open for business, and our dedicated staff will continue to service projects with the highest level of professionalism during this difficult time. Communication within our teams and with our clients will be critical during this period, and we have implemented procedures to ensure that we maintain our high level of collaboration and meet all important deadlines.

The well-being of our clients, staff, and our communities is our foremost concern. Please be safe out there, and let us know if there is anything we can do to support you. Stay healthy and informed.
