We are pleased to recognize the tremendous impacts that Kim-Van and William have made on ELS. These promotions honor the exceptional leadership, mentorship and dedication they have brought to the firm over the past decade. They are an essential part of our success.

Kim-Van Truong, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Assoc. DBIA – Principal

Since joining ELS in 2007, Kim-Van Truong has overseen a variety of projects, including recreational and sports, college and university, retail, and master planning on all aspects of project delivery from start to finish. Kim’s current focus is on recreation, sports and aquatic projects. Kim has experience in leading projects that have obtained LEED certification, has a strong interest in creating healthy environments for building users, and is an active participant in ELS’ sustainable design group. Kim-Van, who has served on the board of directors of the AIA East Bay as secretary/treasurer, continues to look for ways to enhance our community, whether by designing the built environment or volunteering her time. She regularly participates in career outreach events for architecture students. Kim-Van received a bachelor of arts in architecture with high honors from UC Berkeley.
