Originally from Detroit, I now live in Novato with my wife, Amy Peele. Our children, Gracie and Bennett have flown the coop! I enjoy the mix of working as an architect, teaching at Berkeley and Cal Poly, and pouring wine in Sonoma on the weekends. Passions include family, food, books, music, and movies, photography, hiking, travel, baseball, and glass making.

I was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, and used the winnings to take my family on a trip to Spain, including a week of hiking on the Camino de Santiago
