Stanford Shopping Center
ELS has provided ongoing architectural design and master planning services for the Stanford Shopping Center since 1993. The successful open air center is famous for its gardens and modern amenities. ELS master planned public area improvements and expansion strategies, including an urban village concept that incorporated new retail, a luxury hotel, and structured parking. A “village green” will serve as the heart of the expansion, providing generous outdoor spaces for dining, seasonal exhibitions and performances, and other leisure activities. Located adjacent to regional train service, the improvements will serve as a catalyst for transit oriented development in the area.
